Register an AccountXMPP, originally called Jabber, is an open messaging protocol that has been around since 1999. The IETF maintains it under RFC 6120 and RFC 6121. It works much like email: your account here can send and receive messages from users on any other XMPP server in the world, with no central company owning or controlling the network.
All of the clients below support OMEMO end-to-end encryption and work well with this server. Click a card to visit the project's website.
